Justin Bisted

I’ve been deep in technology and problem solving practically my whole life. I was fourteen when I started fixing computers and launched my city’s first dial-up internet service, and I’ve been building and leading technical systems ever since. Over the years I’ve grown a long-standing IT and cybersecurity consulting business, added business accounting experience, built software for real-world operations, and developed a strong operational backbone rooted in ISO and NIST standards. I’ve worked across government-related projects, telecom environments, and high-reliability infrastructure, learning how to design systems that don’t just function, but hold their integrity when the pressure is on. I’ve been working with DYNA since 2012 and joined full time in 2018. As CTO, I oversee the Information Security and Technology departments and drive the structure that keeps the company stable, efficient, and moving forward. I’m also advancing my cybersecurity track by pursuing the CISSP to reinforce the governance behind everything we build.

My role is about creating order in complexity. I architect the workflows, controls, infrastructure, and software that power DYNA. That includes ERP process design, cybersecurity operations, internal tools, and the documentation and training that keep every department aligned. I’m constantly taking complicated challenges and turning them into clean, dependable systems that people can rely on. My job is to make sure technology never becomes the bottleneck and that the organization has the structure it needs to operate with clarity and confidence.

Day to day, you’ll find me leading remotely while staying tightly connected to Millington, DYNA’s headquarters. I’m running workflow builds, writing and refining software, reviewing security posture, tuning ERP logic, and staying available for the teams no matter where I’m working. Sometimes that’s Las Vegas, sometimes Wisconsin, sometimes an airport lounge between flights. My leadership style is built around being fully present even when I’m not physically in the building, making sure people get access, direction, and support without needing me in the next room.
Outside of DYNA, I’m in the sky or behind a camera. I’m a commercial pilot with multi-engine and instrument ratings, a CFII, and I enjoy flying for aerial photography along with ground photography when something grabs my attention. I push myself through leadership conferences, meeting new people, and learning from anyone willing to share what they know. Titles don’t matter to me; insight does.
