EVART, Michigan – October 1, 2016 – DYNA Products, the market leader in the small to midsize firewood processor industry, introduced 27 new rental centers across Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New York, Ontario, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. DYNA is in the midst of celebrating its seventh year of manufacturing firewood processors and is proud to announce that its 1,000th machine was built recently at the factory in Michigan.
“We are thrilled to announce that beginning this fall, customers will be able to rent firewood processors from 27 different locations in the United States and Canada,” said Nathan Miller, DYNA Products’ President. “Prices will begin from $300 a day (about 10-15 cords) for customers renting our most popular model, the SC-14 Firewood Processor.”
DYNA will have three models available depending on the scale of project and budget. For customers heating their home with firewood, the SC-14 will produce about a season’s worth of cut and split firewood in about an 8-hour day. Commercial operators looking to handle increased seasonal load or individuals with larger 22” diameter logs will find the SC-15 and SC-16 (respectively producing 3 and 4 cords per hour) essential.
DYNA is also pleased to announce its OEM partnership with Caterpillar, Inc. Their diesel engine offerings now include a 34 HP CAT Diesel on the SC-14 and SC-15 models, (starting at $27,900 and $33,000) and a 51 HP CAT Diesel on the larger SC-16 (starting at $40,400). “The relationship with CAT is getting off to a great start, and we’re honored that CAT Rental Centers have chosen DYNA for their rental lineup,” Nathan Miller said. “Look forward to seeing DYNA Firewood Processors at your nearest CAT Rental Center.”
The first DYNA Firewood Processor available through CAT has been placed with MacAllister Rentals / The CAT Rental Store out of Midland, MI. Program participants are selected based on key parameters, such as product features and benefits, product support capabilities, training programs, promotion programs, brand image, delivery times, safety features, and product resale values.
DYNA Products will continue to innovate and provide high-quality firewood processors at an affordable price. They look forward to working with both rental and retail customers in the final quarter of 2016 and into the future.
The year 1998 was a big year for two young Amish entrepreneurs. Twin brothers, Norman and Nathan Miller put their dreams and wallets to the test and build a brand new shop with a brand new name: DYNA Products. Today, that name has become know, not only throughout the country, but worldwide.
Several years prior to DYNA’s inception, the brothers manufactured specialty log furniture processing equipment in their father’s fence post business, mostly for their own use. However, it wasn’t long until orders poured in. As DYNA’s customer base developed, other markets were pursued including portable log bandmills.
With time, the mid-size firewood processor market called for a quality, value-driven machine. In 2007, DYNA Products stepped in and met that need. Today, DYNA has grown to be a market leader in the industry with nearly 1000 processors manufactured. As this product line grew, DYNA sold the portable bandmill line and continued focusing on what they did best: building firewood processors.
The DYNA mission is to build a quality product for a fair price, backed by the best customer support, allowing the customer to reap greater profits in the firewood industry.
