Before operating any DYNA equipment including firewood processors and VORTEX wood chippers please read the respective operators manual. You may get the latest manuals on this page or under SERVICE on this website. You may also call 989-823-6200 and ask for parts to order one. Please read and understand and follow the safety section of these manuals. Additionally, please follow all instructions on this page.

All operators must be at least 18 years old and older and physically and mentally fit and capable to operate industrial machines such as these DYNA machines. The operator and bystander(s) must wear appropriate PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, safety vest, shoes and gloves. Especially for the firewood processors AND wood splitters, NEVER reach into the splitting chamber OR cutting areas of the machine. Doing so can cause severe injury or death. If you must reach in to service the machine or move material, then ALWAYS shut down motor first. This is done with the key or other provided shut down mechanism. ALWAYS keep the guards installed AND closed while machine is running. DO NOT reach into or hold onto any moving area of the machine including belts, logs, trees, branches, chains, splitters, feeders, saws, wedges, fans or onto, into or underneath the conveyor. See setup and operation instructions.

For chippers, do not stand in front of the infeed table to feed but ALWAYS feed machine from the side. Read and follow the safety portion of the manual before operating chippers.

If you have a machine with a missing guard please contact DYNA for a replacement guard. This includes the clear operator shield on the processors.
